Terms of Use

Last updated 8 September 2026

These terms govern your use of https://raisingaireadychildren.com and your purchase of the digital edition of Raising AI-Ready Children. By using the site or buying the book you agree to them.

1. Who we are

The site and the digital edition are provided by Dennis Kriel, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at dennis@verdantech.co.za.

2. What you are buying

The Complete Digital Edition is a one-time purchase of R299 (South African Rand) that gives one person access to read all chapters of the book in the online reader, to listen to the chapter narrations that are available, and to use the interactive tools on the site. Narrations are added chapter by chapter; the contents page shows which chapters currently have audio. The introduction and Chapter 1 are free to read without an account.

3. Your account

4. Payment

Payments in South African Rand are processed by PayFast (Pty) Ltd. Card payments in US Dollars are processed by Stripe on behalf of Global Village Worker Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, which is the seller of record for those purchases. We never see or store your card details. Access is unlocked automatically once PayFast confirms the payment, normally within a minute. If it has not unlocked within an hour, contact us with the email address you paid with.

5. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. In short: a full refund is available on request within 14 days of purchase.

6. Intellectual property

The text, figures, audio narrations and site design are the copyright of Dennis Kriel. You may print the Family AI Agreement and other worksheets for use in your own household or classroom. You may not copy, distribute, scrape or republish the book or the narrations, or use them to train machine-learning systems.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the reader available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may improve or change the site. If we ever discontinue the online reader, we will give purchasers at least 90 days’ notice and a way to keep the book.

8. Liability

The book offers general parenting guidance and is not professional psychological, medical or educational advice. To the extent permitted by South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
